Silk Mothlet

I love moths! This white mothlet was inspired by Bombyx Mori, the silk moth! Its body is made with a soft velvety yarn.

Crocheted with care and acrylic yarn (standard, velvet, and fur-style), it is stuffed with soft polyester fiber fill and weighted with plastic beads. The eyes are safety eyes.

Patterns are my own, usually just improvised. Each is a one-of-a-kind “sculpture” and takes several hours to make.

*Allergy note: These are made in the home of Mallow the Cat, often while he is nearby. I do take care to remove any fur I notice.
